Clare heads up the technical function for Oliver James and Proper Pies, and the production function at Oliver James. The dual role works very well, ensuring both food safety and quality are embedded in production activities, whilst holding A* BRC accreditation at both sites.

Clare studied Food and Nutrition at Nottingham Trent University, prior to Oliver James Clare worked at Thomas Morel Foods in addition to a number of other food manufacturing businesses. She joined Oliver James Foods 12 years ago as part of the technical team and progressed to take the role of Factory Manager. Her understanding of the company's production requirements and her personal drive and commitment have helped develop strong production and technical teams, and satisfy the 30 plus customer audits undertaken every year.
